TOEFL® iBT essay: People should somtimes do things that they do not enjoy doing.

Hi all, please give advices for my first essay: " Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? People should sometime do things that they do not enjoy doing. Use specific reasons and example to support your answer."

In the life, people usually do things they love. They afraid of doing things they don't enjoy. In my opinion, people should sometime do things that they do not enjoy doing because of some reasons; the most important two of which are mentioned blow.

The first reason for my approval of saying " People should sometime do things that they do not enjoy in" is that when they try to do such things, they may learn how to manage hard situation. The final reason is that when they do things that are not their pleasure, the may incur difficulty and try to do it in many times, hence, they will get more and more patience to deal with difficult problems later. For example, a man really do not enjoy playing football, so he will not know how to goal kick at the first time playing. But when he try to do it in many times later, he will be patient to perform it. Since, to deal with another difficult problems he may remember to be patient.

In conclusion, people should sometime do things that they do not enjoy doing. Because I think that when they do so they may receive more patience and experience to deal with difficult situation.

I am not a teacher, but what I think is -- you should try to gather more ideas and build on your own experiences and reading. Once you have enough points to elaborate, presenting those in an organized and concise form is a mere formality.

We always start from the topic given. Try searching if you had experienced similar things before, if not then recollect from your readings. There is not anything simpler than to express your own ideas, because no one knows them beforehand. Examples are a good way to convince the reader.
