Hello!

Can we say "a man is in the middle of some men"?

Thanks a lot!

NO!

You could say; " At the heart of a man."

Perhaps, Cinderella meant this --

A man is standing out there, right in the middle of that group of men.

I myself not sure whether this is correct or not. If wrong, can someone please correct it?

You are correct Gray. I think I may have misunderstood the question.

Is there any better alternative? --

A man is standing out there, right in the middle of that group of men.

Or let me guess wildly --

1) A man is there in the middle of that group.

2) A man is standing out there surrounded by few men.
