Question related to the feature of this forum (Stop watching this topic) #1 (permalink) Thu Jun 18, 2009 3:07 am   Question related to the feature of this forum (Stop watching this topic)

Hi Torsten and everyone,

I actually very much like to watch some issues that I've watched and I'm interested in. However, from time to time, I got the Topic Reply Notification from my mail, I find out that the system shows that "Watch this topic for replies" on the bottom of the page that belongs to the topic I am watching.

I mean it sounds like that sometimes the system will stop me to watch the topic automatically without setuping the function(Actually I just need to press the link). But sometimes this feature is working. So I would like to make sure if the function is okay or not. Because I'm afraid of lossing the Reply Notification unvoluntarily.(Actually, the system is supported to show "Stop watching this topic" always after I press the link that watching it Smile ))

By the way, in fact, I have a advice for the feature of system weather we can have a function that listing all the topics we have watched? Thanks for considering it as well. (Or it has this function, and just I don't know it?)

Thanks for replying me in advance.

Maggie^^

I'm still getting email notification of responses only erratically, yet I haven't clicked any buttons.

This message is for Slava and Torsten, Honey. I should receive an email when someone has posted on my threads, but sometimes I do not receive any.

I am still not receiving consistent notice of responses to my posts. A lot of students are left with their follow-up questions unanswered, I think. Slava?

Hello Charles,
Please inform me about the URL (link to a forum post) where you can't get an email notification.

I'll let you know the next time that I stumble across one. Since I don't get notice, I don't know that I have missed a response until I happen across one.

HERE is a thread for which I received notice of Haya's post-- and when I checked it, there was also spam, which I deleted. Then I left the site.

The subsequent posts by Sandy and Azoz I did not receive notice of, but just discovered them by chance when I followed another spammer to that thread.
