English teacher kindergarden

Hy...i need a little help of an english teacher in a kindergarden.
I am also new to teaching little ones and find it challenging. I have no particular curriculum to follow and have been given all but no materials. I did a lot of searching on the Internet for suitable materials but, no satisfactory results

I'm looking for stories in which different things(animals/ colours/family members, etc) are mentioned a few times. I need it to prepare a game in which each child is a different thing and when their name is mentioned they have to do sth ( run or jump). Can you think of any such stories or give me some links? I need these stories or songs to be simple and not very long for a good understanding.

Hey Cristina maybe you can try the Cinderella story it has family animals and a happy ending. Look for Disney website and you may find characters that are in the story. I know Amazon.com will have the book. If I find something better and easier I will let you know. Good luck with the little ones:)

how about children's songs? They are fun and a lot of them are thematic. Like "one two buckle my shoe" makes counting fun or you can teach them animal names through "old mcdonald had a farm"

One, two buckle my shoe:
One two buckle my shoe
Three four shut the door
Five six pick up sticks
Seven eight lay them straight
Nine ten do it again!
(there are more verses I think but I was taught this version)

Old McDonald had a farm:
Old McDonald had a farm, EIEIO
And on his farm he had some dogs EIEIO
With a woof woof here
And a woof woof there
Here a woof, there a woof
Everywhere a woof woof
Old McDonald had a farm EIEIO

And sure you can add more verses with
cats - meow / purr ; cows - moo ; pigs - oink ; horses - neigh ; chickens - cluck ; ducks - quack

It's even more fun if after singing a verse you repeat the previous one(s) from this "with a .... here" part
