Dear Friends,
Can you help me find grammatical errors in the following essay of mine? WHY MITSUBISHI ETERNA?
Finally I chose to buy Mitsubishi Eterna after a long time search for a cheap used vehicle that suits my profession, my driving habit, and my needs.
The car was built in 1989 -- 20 years ago! It was the time when I learned how to comprehend English with British accent, which I still find difficult to understand because I have been exposed to a number of American movies shown on local TV stations.
The car has a dark yellow color with half-corrugated sidewalls. A complete set of an audio system is also furnished with a sub-woofer placed in the trunk. Four sets of R15 tires also give us an impression that it is provided for only those who like speed driving, and a racing exhaust pipe is really matching with its fame for its speed and power.
2000 cc (cubic centimeter) is rarely attracting to most of people in my country, which is famous for its terrible traffic congestion. I believe they just don’t have clear information on the characteristic of Mitsubishi. I have proven it myself that ‘cc’ in Mitsubishi is not in line with amount of gas it consumes. It may be caused by its injection system designed for economy but power purpose to meet Asian people’s life style, and its electronic control unit that smartly manages gasoline supply to be burnt inside the combustion chamber.
I found that 10 liter-gas allowed me to reach my office and return home without feeling worried about running out gas on the way. The mileage showed that the distance I had taken was 110.7 km, which indicates a low rate of gas consumption for a car of 2000 cc: 1 liter equals approximately 11 liters. Cars of the same cc may have a consumption rate of 1 equal to 9 or even 7 liters.
The speed and power are also amazing. No wonder my friends call this an evil car! The comfort is not disappointing and the style is still aerodynamic. The only thing I never like is the spare part price which is out of my reach. You may check it at auto part shops nearby your house.
