ok so i was listening to a song by one of my favorite bands and i was trying to figure out what aford means used like they do. the song lyric goes as follows : "i shot myself and shes AFORD!"
i know that they dont mean it as have the $ to so i was wondering. dose this mean upset, or freaking out or wat exactly it means because i know alot of words but never have i heard this one used like this. :oops:

I don't think you understood the lyric correctly, because it doesn't make sense.

The song is called "Taking Life From Me", by Brokencyde.

All the lyric sites have the same lyrics as the original post. I listened to the song, but I can't make it out. I seem to hear "I shot myself and she's a four."

Lyrics in question are from 2:34-2:37.

I hate this white boy rap stuff. And whoever posted those lyrics to the web obviously didn't understand the line either.

Anyway, since "aford" isn't an English word, there's no explaining what they might have meant.

"AFORD" stands for "Alliance for Democracy", which is a political party in the country of Malawi.
