Hi Strawberry,

If you say: Tell us the story again, you are using the imperative form of the verb because you are ordering or asking someone to do something. The imperative form is the same as the infinitive form and so there is no 's'. With an 's' it becomes the third person singular of the Present Simple: She tells a story.
