57 Some movies are serious, desighned to make the audience think. Other movies are desighned primarily to amuse and entertain. Which type of movie do you prefer?
Movies considered to be great tend to be serious ones, and I agree with this opinion. For example, movies which themes a war, death, family problems can enlighten us in many respect. Surely they would be great for my life, but sadly, I am not the person who want to think or regret or remorse during my free time. I like happy ones, especially comedy movies. Because comedy movies make me relax, positive, and my family's bond strong. Life is more stressful these days. There are a lot of problems that I don't want to think. By watching comedy movies, I can laugh a lot. In around two hours, I always find myself very relaxed compared to the privious time. In fact, It is exemplified by a medical research that laughing is a great way to ease physical and mental pain. Comedy movies also help me to be positive. There are many ordeal for characters, though, they usually end up being happy. I'm likely to watch negative aspect toward future, but their happy ending always help me maintain positive and energetic toward my life. Thirdly, comedy movies make my family together. My parents are both working and my sister and I am busy studying. My brother, who is nine years old, is also busy studying in juku. It is our family tradition to gather on Saturday night every week to watch a comedy movie which my younger brother loves. I think sharing happy time and eating pop corns had made our family bond strong. I was one time asked by my friend that if I thought watching silly movies was a waste of time. But I didn't think so. I believe relaxing, being positive, and having a great family are necessary for me. Thus I prefer comedy movies because they keep my life that way.
:( I am practicing writing essay, thogh writing in 30 minutes is pretty difficult for me. I have only 2 weeks to go. Could you give me some advice? I need to get at least 16 points for my writing score.
