2. I'm sending you the list of all the people I found in the cemetery. This seems to be better. Here you have names of only those interred in that cemetery. Normally when 'all' is followed by uncountable nouns we find 'the, my, his, her, their, these etc.' occurring in between. best of luck, nanucbe. |

I have found in my grammar book, that we say ,, all day'' , ,,all week'', not ,,all the day'', ,,all the week''? So is it possible to say ,,all people''? and in which cases? Thanks! |

| All day; all night. I have heard that 'all' when followed by 'day or night' does not get 'the' after that. We write only 'all day; all night.' But when it is morning, evening or afternoon, we write 'all the morning, all the afternoon and all the evening.' I feel that these are more through usage. best of luck, nanucbe |
