Hello, this is my first post on this forum. Can you please tell me what do sentences those start with 'I am doing like' mean? It looks like it would still mean the same without 'like' but I have no idea.

My Mother-in-Law is very conscious about the cleanliness of the house so majority of the time, I am like doing housechores and washing the toilets.
My life is like a daily routine, I am like doing the same things everyday.
A worrying thing is that I fear that nobody is doing the questions and I am like doing it for nothing.
I am like doing free advertisement for Luxor. Must collect some fees.

p.s. Any short, quick tips how to understand fast spoken english? Such as CNN news reports?

Thanks in advance.

Drop the like. It is rubbish, and deserves to be viewed as such.
