"She should live in a location which is of reasonable distance from her office, so that she won't be late every morning."

Is it correct to use "of" in that sense?

I've never seen it. 'Which is a reasonable distance'.

Hi Bulone,
I think it is correct, because "OF" is used in expressions showing DISTANCE from smth in place/time:
We live a mile OF the city centre.
She came within 2 seconds OF beating the world record.

"within easy reach" or "within short distance" I would suggest.

Well, I guess this isn't a common usage of "OF" then. Thanks a bunch for all your inputs.

We live a mile OFF the city centre.

Not really that good Morteza.

We live a mile from is much better.

Hello Morteza,

Your second example is fine, but the first one is not. However, the first one would be OK if you added the word "south", for example:

- We live a mile south OF the city centre.
