David. A confused boy. #1 (permalink) Mon Jul 27, 2009 18:18 pm   David. A confused boy.

David was a good-looking gentle boy. He loved to read and visit museums and art galleries.
He was eighteen and every girl who saw him fancied him, but David was studious and appeared to have no time for girls.

He made few close friends and those he did have were very much like him.
Having no liking for football or anything that required the expending of energy, he spent lots of time cruising around antique shops and soon became known as an expert of fine things.

He liked to dress well, and he had his favourite uni-sex hairdressing salon, where he was always made welcome by the mostly effeminate male members of the staff.

For years he had tried to hide his sexual preference, but one day he decided to confide in his Mother about this.
She was aghast to think her boy was more attracted to other boys than girls, and she lost no time in sharing this news with her husband when he returned from his work on the local docks.
He was outraged, and he told David he had better sort himself out or there would be trouble!
David was adamant, and the row finally ended with him packing his case and leaving home.

David arrived in London in the early hours of the morning with nowhere to stay, but he was accosted by a rich older man who told him that he had a spare room in his home. He politely refused the offer and quickly walked on.

The night-clubs were emptying at this hour, and he was propositioned time and time again, but he refused every time. He wasn't yet ready to face his reality.

During the morning he was sat in a cafe and was almost falling asleep on the table when another young man approached. David liked the look of this young guy, and he happily accepted his offer of a spare room.
They lived in the apartment for six months and finally David grew to accept his
homosexuality. The two became lovers and lived happily together for several further weeks.

He was rapidly running out of money, and his "friend" was making it clear that their affair had about ran its course.
He was distraught that his friend could act so coldly, but he moved out and accepted that he must find someone who could support him.

He found such a man in an art gallery and he gladly accepted the rich man as his new companion.
The man was an amiable companion and very rich.
He spent lavishly on David, and in the following weeks he introduced him to many of his homosexual friends.
David became very well known in these circles, and many offers were presented to him but he remained faithful to his companion.

Late one night they were returning from a late cinema showing when they were accosted by a gang of louts.
They demanded that David and his friend hand over their wallets and watches.
They refused and a violent fight ensued.
One youth produced a long knife and lunged at David's friend, but David stepped between them and received a stab to the heart.
He fell to the floor and the blood pumped from him in frothy spurts.
The gang panicked and started to run away. They certainly hadn't wanted to be involved in a killing.

David's friend phoned for an ambulance and the police, but by the time they arrived David was dead.
The next morning the police notified his parents of his death. His mother began to sob, but his father just said;

"You must be mistaken, we don't have a son," and he closed the door in the face of the police.

If it had happened to my father, I'm sure he would have said the same thing!

I don't respect homosexuals, it's dirty and it's illness I think.
