Hi everyone,

I am a new one in this forum. I want to ask you, when you are at an interview and you are invited to ask a question, is it really necessary to ask a question? And what kind of question should the candidate ask, what kind of question is to avoid to ask? Thank you in advance.

Yes it is, but don't ask how many weeks holiday you receive.

I, as an employer, would find it strange if I was interviewing somebody and they didn't ask any questions. I'd have to wonder if they were truly interested in the position, or if they were just so arrogant that they thought they knew everything.

As for what questions to ask, I'd suggest a Google search. There are a lot of interviewing tips out there, and while you do want to ask questions, you want to ask the right ones.

I suggest Googling 'Asking questions in interview', and reading through the wealth of information there. There's a lot of helpful information given by people more knowledgeable than me on the subject.
