Ok. Fellow friends and the rest of cosmopolitan population of this forum here is a chance for all to hone their poetic skills and have fun at the same time. I am writing a small poem and leaving it to be continued for the next person the trick to this thread is you must leave your extension at a point where someone can add something to this adventure.

On a limb of a tree
Sat a little birdie
Sad and defused Sad
Lost and confused Confused
Flying, playing in the garden alone
Wandered away from her home Rolling Eyes
Before she realize night was there
Darkness took over everywhere Mad
Shadows looked like scary creatures Evil or Very Mad
Even flowers changed their features Twisted Evil
Little birdie then started to cry Crying or Very sad
Shut her eyes scared to fly. Arrow

Not so far was a firefly
Minding its business near by
Firefly heard little birdies cries
His heart sank and tears came to eyes
He told little birdie not to worry
Gather up some courage and hurry
He will lead the way with his light
So little birdie can get home alright
We should help others with our gift
Let’s give humanity a little lift
Love for all and stop the fight
Helping others is a hero’s plight.

Helping others is a hero’s plight. I read this poem in Urdu when I was in 3rd grade and it stays with me till today I don’t know if I was able to justify the translation of this poem but the simple message of this poem is so simple and pure "Lets help one another with whatever we can" I say let’s bring Kindness back to this world. Hate will disappear by itself.Very Happy
