Hi everyone! Be so kind please! Reply to me! When do you use 'to settle 'instead of 'to pay'
Thank you

Hi,

To 'settle' is to finish payment for something done over a period of time. To 'pay' is similar but usually used for transactions that happen in one moment ie. Go to the market, get the shopping and 'pay' for it.
