LOL I was embarrassed when i made that test.It isn't elementary really!
So can you explain the meaning of that verbs :
knock up
come in for
churn out
mark down
raking in
branched out
bump up
drummed out

LOL I was embarrassed when i made that test.It isn't elementary really!
So can you explain the meaning of that verbs :
knock up ..... wake someone up from a deep sleep.( Slang.To make a female pregnant.)
come in for.... have some luck. Inherit a sum of money.
churn out..... turn out lots of work, probably worthless, but a lot of.
mark down...... lower the price or target.
raking in....... to acquire lots of money.
branched out.......... expanded the business.
bump up........ inflate the price.
drummed out.... an old military Army expression. To be drummed out of the Forces as a traitor/coward.
