When it comes to the issue that whether you will stand for constructing a new restautant in your neighborhood, the opinions about it vary from person to person. A great number of citizens go into raptures at the mere mention of the idea that a new restaurant will be situated in their communities. As far as they are concerned, a restaurant nearby can not only usher in tremendous convenience, but also provide them an alternative to their daily meal which they have fed up with. For example, if they are exhausted after a hectic day,it may take them no more than a few minutes to arrive at the restaurant where they can enjoy a superior meal leisurely.
However, from the angle of my own, there are far more insidious shortcomings beneath the surface of the superiorities mentioned above.
Initially, the construction of a restaurant is bound to give rise to pollution of enviroment. For instance, the wasted water emitted by the restaurant tends to transform the crystal-like rivers nearby into sewerage making the pedestrians expose to the offending odour. Furthermore, the plastic bags or doggie bags offered by the restaurant threaten to overwhelm the originally neat sidewalk. In addition, the restaurant which may spell excess citizens can contribute to the noise pollution as well as traffic congestion.
To be brief, the proposal of the construction of a new restaurant in the neighbourhood should be condemned in terms of sustainable development.
