Hi everyone,
My name's Hanh. I'm from Vietnam, the same with Hang and Thao. I'm very glad to meet all of you on this forum.
I have been working for a foreign company but my English skills couldn't be better. I studied English very hard but I can't remember what I studied. I'm really worry about that
I like reading all messages on this forum, abundant in subjects.
Will you please give me advices to speak & listen English well?

HI Hanh,

I am very happy to meet you here in this forum. I am also new here. But one thing I have to advise you about learning language is that 'learn language like kids learn it'. How do they learn language? First they listen to the words and sentences. Then they imitate in the similar contexts.

So, first you listen to the audio lessons which are given in this web site. To understand the pronunciation look into the texts given along with each audio lessons. Again and again hear the lessons. The sentences and their structures will linger in your mind with its tune, like a song in the memory. When we forget a song the tune will help us to remember the song. In the same way the tune of English sentence structures will help us to make the proper sentences at the proper place and context.

This is one of my opinion. I don't claim that this is a perfect principle. But this has been helping me so much.

oh, you work in the foreign company so you have a great oppurtunity to learn and improve English skills.Now, I'm student and it's difficult for me to find a good enviroment to practise speaking skill. i feel very hard to speak out. What i have to do now?????????

Hi Hang,
I have been working for a foreign company, everything in English but I couldn't speak E frequently because my manager is a Vietnamese & I'm also just a staff, I didn't have chances to communicate with foreigners.
I can write,speak but listen a little bit
You're a student, if you live in HCM City, you can join in E club at Thanh Nien house of culture. There're alot of people: student, doctor,staff... and very fun.
