It all depends on what kind of writing it is, and the topic, Buckmajor. There are no special words-- almost any word can start a sentence. If many of your sentences start with 'I', then you must be writing some sort of autobiographical narrative. If all your sentences start with 'I', then it gets boring for the reader, so try to put another part of the sentence first. For example, you can change 'I go riding every afternoon' to 'Every afternoon, I go riding'. _________________ Native English teacher at Mister Micawber's |

Thanks Mister Micawber, the example is what I was looking for. Do you have more examples? |

Books are full of them, Buckmajor. If you want to write better, you need to start reading. _________________ Native English teacher at Mister Micawber's |
