If you write off something, you deem it worthless, give up on it as a failure, or reduce the amount of something (particularly in taxes).
If you write out something, you express something in written words at length. _________________ Plan to be spontaneous tomorrow.

For a better understanding, the following is some examples on write off & write out: - Write off + Can I write this off as a deduction, or is it a dead loss? Can I write off this expense as a tax deduction? + We almost wrote off the investment as a dead loss. - Write out: + Don't just write "7," write it out. Please write out all abbreviations, such as Doctor for Dr. + Let me write it out. Then I won't forget it. Karen wrote out her objections. for your reading pleasure :). |
