I guess you meant the "Pope" when you wrote "Baba". Am I right?
However, Baba does not mean Pope in English. Look at the definitions for "baba" in these two links:

I don't think I know any Christians (or more specifically, Catholics) who believe that the Pope is God. Basically, the Pope is the head of the Catholic Church.

I would like to point out again that although the origin of the word "good-bye" is God be with you, that is not what is meant by "good-bye" in modern English.

By the ninteenth century "God be with you" had undergone a few shortenings and become "good bye". Some say it may have blended with "Good day" and "Good night".

Some religious people in the United States may say (as a farewell) "God be with you", or "Go with God".

The modern term, "good-bye" as used in modern American English does not imply any belief in God or have any religious meaning. It is simply a farewell statement.

Bye is simple a short form of goodbye. Bye-bye is another variant.
Bye and bye-bye are less formal than goodbye.
