Hi,

Is it because 'rob' is apt to be used for some 'big deal' such as rob a bank that it doesn't fit in here?

Hi,

'Rob' has the meaning of steal from someone or something. In the test reference is made to someone 'breaking into a house' obviously with the intention of stealing but essentially the first step is 'enter by force'.

I always believed that I use burgle into a house and rob a house. Was I wrong?
Thank You,
