The plane has landed vs. is landed #2 (permalink) Mon Aug 10, 2009 19:11 pm   The plane has landed vs. is landed

Hi,
Both of them are correct.
"To land" is both a trnsitive and an intransitive verb.
The plane should land in Paris at 5 p.m.(Active Voice)
The plane was landed on water in an emergency yesterday.(Passive Voice)
Good luck,
