Volunteering is very important in our community ?

For many years people have volunteer in order to help the community, and give something to those in needs. Volunteering has become a vital part of our society from which there are many services offered throughout the country. Services vary from the most important ones done by doctors, nurses, and specialists, to regular people wanting to lend a helping hand to the elderly, newcomers, or abused woman, children, or anyone who is in need. I support this statement because volunteers are a fundamental part for any community to function well.

There are many volunteering agencies in each, and every city of every country. From the ones who travel overseas to help the poor in countries like Africa, to the ones we have right here at home. A volunteer is a person who ( offers to do something without being forced to do it, or without getting paid for it) These people have great value to our lives. Therefore it is very important for every person to do it at least once in a life time. Helping others gives you the satisfaction of knowing you have done something good. There are many people who can benefice from you work. You don't have to be en expert to help others. There is no need to be a doctor, all you need is the willingness to do it.

Volunteers carry out a job done will truthfulness, honor, and integrity. They come out to provide their services to people who are suffering from illnesses,or traumatic events that may have happened in their lives. They also help newcomers to the country, by providing information of services offered by the government. What impact would it have on an elderly person to get a visit from someone? Some of them have no family, or relatives they are completely alone. By caring we give them the self-confidence, and the energy to keep going. Simple things like reading a book to a sick person, or just simply visiting them at the hospital, the volunteers do, without knowing it a tremendous work. The helper shows the sick people that there are people who still care, and that they are not alone.

In conclusion, volunteers are people who care about the well-being of their community. Some of them do not have much , but are willing to share what they've got with others. In other words, they are important part of our lives. Some of us may not have had the opportunity of interacting with one. But I know for a fact, that they have change the lives of many. They have helped their friends overcome a family loss, or the neighbors with their kids, and even that estranger laying in the hospital bed.

First I'd to congratulate you Yamilet for this statement, which revels another part of us which now is hidden. I never made part of any organization which provide help. But when I've a opportunity to help, I do. It's important to be volunteere, that's because whe are human and we have to wonder with our brother helping them in bad moments. There are millions of people around the world, in Africa my continent where people sleep with extremely hungry, in bad conditions, without bed, without cover. We need to put on our mind that there children crying, without parents to consol. To be volunteer is creating a better world.

I know that life is hard, i have lived myself and i know it very well.
Africa is a country that breaks my heart to think about, for the obvious reasons
I wish one day we could all be the same and live a normal life.
Volunteers are important to our lives in many ways.
