How important is web security to you?

Are you aware of web page security trust marks such as McAfeeSECURE or Hacker Safe? What your online shopping habits -- how important is safety and security to you when it comes to selecting an online shop you buy from?

Even though I vote for McAfeeSECURE or Hacker Safe; frankly speaking, I do not know what does it mean. Please give me at least short explanation about that.

Hi,
Martha if i may, Hacker Safe is a company that provides the security needed to online shops, visit any major, online shop, and you will see the logo. Basically they do an everyday test, scan etc of the online shop (web page) to see if they can be hacked. If they can be hacked then the online shop is not safe for you, in fact is not safe to any online buyer. Mcafee does the same thing.

I buy only using an online payment processor (e.g. paypal) and only using my laptop which is, i think, very well protected.
