Topic: do you like to eat out or to eat at home?

Nowadays specially in cities, who is not always in a rush? This modern and competitive society has left us very few time to enjoy or daily 3 meals.. there is always something else to do and this makes us inevitably eau out of our homes; in spite of this I strongly agree that eating at home is far much better than doing it out, as there are lots of advantages like health, money saving and family tradition.

Normally, food at restaurants and take away places are full of saturated fat that eventually can harm our health; in many of these places there is a lack of variety and very important foods that have to be taken if you want keep yourself healthy; vegetables, fruits, natural juices are totally absent in most of theses facilities; eating at home can let you make and prepare your own diet using those ingredients recommended by doctors and nutritionist; this is definitely much healthier than eating outside your place.

At the same time, the cost between eating in and out your home, has to be taken into account, there is not doubt that eating out is much more expensive that cooking your own meal at your home; all restaurants have to make profit and it leads to the meals to be more expensive than the one you could cook at home; this is a very important reason, as nowadays, particularly young people do not earn enough money to afford eating everyday at restaurants.

Another very important fact, as it is in my case, is that eating at home is a family tradition; since I was born, at least one meal a day has to be taken with all my brothers and parents; this is the only moment during the day that you can share with your familiy and know what everyone is up to; for me, this is crucial as I work 12 hours a day and barely have time to spend with my relatives.

Although, the variety of food served in restaurants is getting wider and wider, and at the same time cheaper because of the competition, eating at home has much more advantages than eating out as I have explained in the paragraphs above.

Hi Aitorzl. thanks for your essay.

Use especially to say that something applies more to one thing or situation than to others; examples:
1-Everyone loved you, especially the children.
2-You have to call first, especially if you're going to be late.
Use specially to say that something is done or made for a particular purpose.for instance, ( I got this specially for you.)

what does it mean?
eau ? :?:
there is some grammatical errors.
hygiene-hygienic foods, use these words.

Aitorzl wrote:

take place=to happen, especially after being planned or arranged:
The next meeting will take place on Thursday.
take somebody/something away
This should take some of the pain away

passive tense= are recommended by? :?:
recommend is a transitive verb

there is not(NO) doubt that
all restaurants have to make profit and it leads to the meals to be more expensive than the one you could cook at home;(inevitably leads to being expensive in comparison with those you could cook at home) this is a very important reason, as nowadays,( this might be one of the highly significant reason that people prefer to cook at home) particularly young people do not earn enough money to afford eating everyday at restaurants.(It is not economically feasible for less-income families/newly married couples)
familiy=typo= (FAMILY)

If I were you, I'd rewrite this essay. It isn't clear enough for reader.
I'm sorry to say that; you made a lot of mistakes. some of them aren't mentioned above. be careful about grammatical structures.
wish you luck.

Hello Richard, :)

Thanks so much for taking the time to correct my essay; I know I made a lot of mistakes, mainly because it was my first essay and that I did it in 30 minutes; after my first couple of essays I realised that I was not structuring very well my essays so now I just take my time to outline and write every essay, no matter how long it takes me; when I feel confident about the structure I'll pay attention to the time; nowadays it takes me about 40 minutes to write a proper essay; in a month time I hope to get it in 30 minutes… Let's see if I can manage

Thanks for stopping by…
