What do you think would happen to you if your father hadn't been with you when you were going back home last night?

Is this sentence OK?

Hi,

Just to add to what Bill has said. Your sentence is a conditional one but it's a mixture of types 2 and 3.

Let me list them for you:

1 (Possible) What do you think will happen to you if your father isn't with you ....?
2 (Imaginary) What do you think would happen to you if your father wasn't with you .....?
3 (Impossible) What do you think would have happened to you if your father hadn't been with you ....?
