Dear All,

I am confused about the use of get prepared or prepare in case one's preparation for something.

Could anyone be king enough to explain the differenece with sentences they are in.

Regards,
Emir

Hi Emir,

Let's start with the verb 'prepare' on its own.

You can prepare your meal = make it ready.

You can get prepared = make yourself ready.

Charlie prepared his breakfast early that morning because he had to take a driving test later and he wanted to get prepared for the examination.
