Hi there,

"If you are affiliated in any way with Microsoft Network, get a life."

Could anyone please tell me what "get a life" means in the above sentence? Many thanks. Smile

Hi Infin,

This is usually a sarcastic expression said to someone who appears to be wasting their time doing useless things. Let's say you meet someone who spends their life collecting bus tickets and never goes out. You could be tempted to say to this person: Get a life! This suggests that they should do something more useful with their life.

This expression is most often used against people who spend their spare time playing computer games, always.
