Nowadays each group member get same grade (mark). Is it a good method to evaluate students?
To give the same grade to all the members who do the same project together. What do you think of the way of evaluation?

:D Essay:

There is a general discussion these days over education in many collages and institutes. One of the questions under debate is whether grades encourage students to learn. From my experience, I believe that to give the same grade to all members who do the same project together cannot evaluate students.
Definitely, grade is a good method to evaluate students. If a student got a good mark, he felt proud of this result, which brought him commendation of his teachers, parents and get admiration from his friends. Consequently, he would try more to get at least the same grade in the next semester. On the other hand/ On the contrary, students with bad score have to pay more in order not to lag behind. Now some schools give their students same grade in one group. What is the difference between getting grade and not getting if everyone gets the same grade? In a word, as grade are a mirror of students’ performance, they motive students learn more.
Research on the education show that grade could let students clearly understand their performance and let them know their advantages and disadvantages. For example, I have a good friend and he always get good grade in math examination no matter the examination is difficult or simple and when he attend in university, he choose math as his major. Days ago he sent me an email and said he has got a lot of prize in mathematic competitions. He told me he was so lucky to choose math as his major. The excellent grade lead him knew that he has advantages on math than other students. Without grades, how could students know what talent they really have? So, grade plays a vital role in students’ study.
Moreover, good grades also give us hope and opportunities of achieving dream. It is possible that a student who get great grade can attend the first-class university for their further study. It will enhance our job and promotion opportunities after graduate from top university especially under our competitive society. The grade as a way to evaluate people’s performance also gives us an equal surrounding to live.
From what have been discussed above, we can safely draw the conclusion that grade encourages students to learn and that to give the same grade to every member is unreasonable.
