Hello everyone

I'd like to ask about the meaning of "blessed" and "humbled" in the following context (from a book by a spiritual healer):

Divine creation and divine manifestation are unlimited. We are extremely honored that the Divine is creating the Divines professionals worldwide. We are extremely blessed that the Divine is downloading divine souls to humanity to heal, bless, and transform our lives. We are extremely humbled that the Divine has, sent an order to humanity to transform our consciousness in order to create love, peace, and harmony for humanity, Mother Earth, and all universes.

Does "blessed" here simply mean "very happy" or is it used in some religious sense.

And I'm confused with the author's using of "humbled". What does it mean here. The only idea I've come up with is that it means something like "it's a great honor for us".

Hi Klpno,

Not heard from you for some time so welcome back. 'Blessed' has the sense of being fortunate often with the idea that god has made this so. 'Humbled' related to the noun 'humility' has the idea of feeling a deep sense of modesty combined as you say with honour that you have been selected.
