Who influences the life most, a teacher or a friend?

During our short life here on Earth we meet plenty of people. Unfortunately we forget many of them, we forget their names or we remember one name but not the person; I think that this are the persons that didn´t play an important role in our life. But there is another category of people, the ones that we could never forget and who have changed our existence forever. Among this people are our best friends and our teachers and I could not tell which one between these two influences the life most. In my opinion both are important in their own ways.

A teacher educates us; he prepares us for a specific career, the one that we want to follow in life. Furthermore, a teacher can be a friend; maybe not one to go out with, but his life experience and wisdom can give you good advices and he can also be very supportive. Even now, ten years after high school I remember my chemistry teacher, how she supported me in my decision of following Dentistry, how she stood without hesitation with me after classes and taught me what I had to know for admission.

A friend is by definition a person who is there for you anytime you need him, every time you want a good advice or you need a shoulder to cry on and at one point he seems to be more important that a teacher is, because of the feelings that are involved. Moreover, we can also learn from him, he can be a good example for us.

To summarize, we are accompanied in our life by many wonderful people, they teach us, they support us and they will be in our hearts forever. They made us who we are, what we are and both of them, the friends and the teachers are a very important part of our life.
