Hello Pokemon,
"Animal monuments" sounds better to me.
Also, please note that it should read "monuments of animals".
Furthermore, I'm not sure if "monuments" qualifies here. In my opinion, "sculptures" would fit better. |

Both are possible. Corpus of American English Monument to - 780 Monument of - 107 British National Corpus Monument to - 190 Monument of -31

"Monument" is possible if a statue is not just a piece of art but commemorates a specific animal or event. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Animal_monuments _________________ con·text - The part of a text or statement that surrounds a particular word or passage and determines its meaning. |
