What's different between present continuous and present participle #2 (permalink) Thu Aug 20, 2009 5:52 am   What's different between present continuous and present participle

Hi,
Present continuous indicates a continuous action at the time of speaking (Be+ -ing):
I am surfing the internet now.
But present participle (-ing) can be considered as an adj:
This film/movie is very amusing.
Hope this helps!
