. I need more context, Key-- does it appear in a sentence like these?--
I slept my way to Chicago-- this means that I was sleeping during the entire journey.
You sleep your way and I'll sleep my way-- this means that we sleep in individualistic positions, for instance, on the back, on the stomach, curled into a foetal position, etc.
I'm going to get to sleep my way-- this means that I have a certain method of going to sleep, like running around the park, or drinking a half bottle of cabernet sauvignon.
When you ask about a vocabulary item or grammar point, it is important to post it in its sentence or other context if you can. . _________________ Canadian-American native speaker who teaches English for a living at Mister Micawber's ESL cafe: Interview with Mr. Micawber |
