Expression: If buyer wants the order to be active #1 (permalink) Sat Aug 22, 2009 10:29 am   Expression: If buyer wants the order to be active

Hi, teachers

If one of my buyer wants to place an order to me,but he is bargaining with me about the price , can I say it in another way like " if buyer wants the order to be active " ?
I'm not sure if saying in this way is grammatical, please give me some advice. thanks.

Hi,

I would say that the price is negotiable or open to negotiation.

Hi, Alan

But the problem is that I have offered a price to the buyer, I just wanted to let the buyer know " if you want the order to active, the price must be xxx ", is that correct ?

Hi Pauline,
Why don't you follow Mr. Alan's suggestion? He is a great teacher. And in my case, though it'd be correct or not, goes like this. "" The price is good until XXXX ...."" etc.

Because Pauline2009 wants to say that the price is NOT negotiable.

Hi Pauline,

I follow what you want to say. I would suggest this kind of statement: If you want the order to remain on the table ..

Just a thought.
