Differences between calm down and settle down

Please tell me the differences between "calm down" and "settle down".

Good morning Rosario.

Calm down. This is usually said to someone who is in an agitated state. An attempt to make them more rational in their behaviour.

Settle down. Is usually said to a group of people assembled in a room. An invitation to be seated and to be quiet.
