Catherine was a very beautiful and bright girl. She had completed her graduation and was working for a large local company.
She had married Kris even though he wasn’t well off and was facing problems, but still they we leading a happy life.

One fine day Mr. Joy knocked at their door. He was a stranger to them. But he was talking to them casually as though he had known them for very long time.
Catherine and Kris were astonished.

He told Kris that he was once in love with a girl called Catherine, who was married to a Mr. Kris.
He told them that he had had to travel abroad on business, and he had just returned after several years of working abroad.
He was surprised and happy to hear Catherine was married and leading a happy life.

Mr. Joy understood that she was financially weak and he solved all of her problems without her knowledge, and brought her a beautiful house which he had dreamt to gift to his wife on their wedding day, but unfortunately he couldn’t now, so he had decided to give it to them as a wedding gift . He was pleased when they accepted his gift.

Mr. Joy made all the legal arrangements for them so that they should not face any problems in future.
After that day they never saw or heard from him for a very long time.

One day Catherine received a telegram from Mr.Joy.
It contained an invitation, visa & tickets for Kris and Catherine.
Mr.Joy had invited them to his country. Kris and Catherine were more than happy to go.

On arrival they found that Mr. Joy had invited them for his funeral.
He was suffering from a rare disease which wasn’t curable, as it had spread to his organs.

Um... I can't find words to comment!

You excited me with your imagination, Hema!

But one point is interesting. How Mr.Joy could know the day of his funeral?

It remainds me the movie "Seven pounds".. You should watch it!!
