Hi Jonh,

I have listened to your message, and I'm very impressed! This is Tom Kane writing from the United States. How did you learn to speak and write English so well?

Thanks for telling us where you live. I actually looked up Curitiba on a map. (I'm not too sure if I am pronouncing the town correctly). But, that's a long way from Pennsylvania.

Anyway, welcome to the forum! It's a great place for people to visit, have fun, and learn English.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Take care,

Tom

Hey John,

How are you? It's good to hear from you again. Sorry it took me so long to reply to your message.

As I mentioned, I live outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Our city just hosted the world leaders for the G-20 summit. Pittsburgh is a nice town, but right now it's rather cold - too cold for my old bones anyway! HA!

Your message was easy to understand. It sounds like you're doing a great job with your speaking skills, too.

Talk to you soon,

Tom

Hi Tom;
I am a foreign graduate. My name is Bouchaib. I am originally from Morocco, but now I am in florida. I am preparing for the Toefl test. I feel that I have difficulites to master the speaking section eventhought I have been living in USA for few years and I speak english at home and at work. I would like to have somebody to check my speaking and see what points that I have to focus on. Thank you.

Now the time has come that all leaves before fall become with a majestic color.
Autumn or fall it's the best time to go through USA by car starting in Miami e finishing in Seattle.
I think it's enough for now. See you later and thanks for all.
Best regards, John.

Hey John,

Thanks for the note. I'm great - a little cold, but great. You're correct that fall is very pretty in the states, especially where I live. Although it's a pretty time of year, I still prefer the warm weather. I like it hot!

I don't know if you have ever clicked on the English-test.net website and listened to the "listening comprehension" exercises, but if you do, you'll notice my voice as the one who recorded them. So things are busy.

It's good to hear from you!

Take care, John!

Hello Bouchaib,

Thanks so much for your note! I really appreciate it. It's very nice to hear from you.

Bouchaib, I think you are coming along very well. Your writing and speaking is clear and easy to understand. I have a feeling that you will pass the TOEFL test with no problems.

So tell me, how did you end up in Florida? Write back when you get a chance.

Take care!

Tom

Hallo John!

How are you?

I was looking for people who speak English here in Curitiba and I find your massage.
I am a Danish guy who lives here permanently and actually I should speak Portuguese, but my God it is difficult to learn!
I am 59 years old and I live with Emilia. If you like, we could exchange mails and maybe you would like to hear a strange story one day???
Your country is very different from Denmark!
If you want, you can write directly to my e-mail: vikingtv@hotmail.com

Hi, Alideniz.
Sorry it took me so long to replay your message. On the other hand, you don't say where are you from, and which is your native language.
Cheers. John.
