hopefully someone is willing to help me revise this essay( actually this is from ielts)
the topic is about discussing whether the government should support the traditional art and how to do it.
my article:
There is one saying "The tradition is something you never can discard." On the contrary, in the present days individuals experiencing the fresh things, they pay less attentions on the traditional event. Under this circumstance, I hold the view that government should function effectively on advocating the traditional art.
One hand, the government can start from the educational field. The local department of education is capable to arrange several required courses with reference to the local arts in schools, aiming to introduce the importance and stimulate their eagerness on it. It is also possible to hold the competitions of local arts on large scale among students.
On the other hand, it is recommended to publicize the value and spirit of the traditional art by media. With the help of internet, television, newspaper and other approaches of mass media, citizens enable to absorb a great deal of knowledge on the local art, acquiring their own interests in it. As a result, the public would tend to emphasize on the traditional art extensively as expected.
Moreover, cultural events in public are also considered as one crucial method of promoting the sommunication of traditional art. For example, the government not only can set several lectures on particular topics about the traditional art in the library, but also encourage the various exhibitions with diverse themes held in the museums.
Based on the above accesses, it is convinced that the traditional art will still play a vital role in individuals' cultural lives under the support of the government. |
