Dear Teachers,

I have read some of your articles in this site. I would like to request your help about a paragraph which i want to put at the beginning of my CV under the title of 'Profile`.

The paragraf is as following;

"A civil engineer specialized in; planning and scheduling of extremely complex constructions including structural, mechanical, electrical, chemical systems; tracking and coordinating departments; completing projects on time by using several kinds of project management tools."

Could you please check its grammer and punctuation? I really appreciate your help...

Thanks alot...

Hi

Alperbase,

Welcome to the site.

I've just made changes as follows:

A civil engineer SPECIALISING in: planning and scheduling of extremely complex constructions including structural, mechanical, electrical AND chemical systems, tracking and coordinating departments, completing projects on time by using several kinds of project management tools.

Note the spelling of 'paragraph'.

Alan

Is it actually possible to specialize in "completing projects on time"?

Dear Alan,

Thanks alot for the grammatical corrections.

Dear Milanya,

Thanks alot for warning me about logical error. I agree with you.

I have changed the paragraph as follows;

"A civil engineer specializing in: planning and scheduling of extremely complex constructions including structural, mechanical, electrical and chemical systems, tracking and coordinating departments, cost management, increasing the productivity by using several kinds of project management tools."

How does it sound? Could you please check it again?

Thanks,

Alper

Again, how do you "track departments"? You may coordinate their work and/or track the execution of a project.

Hi Milanya, thanks again for your correction.

I have made changes as follows;

"A civil engineer specializing in: planning and scheduling of extremely complex constructions including structural, mechanical, electrical and chemical systems, coordinating the works of departments, cost management, tracking the execution of projects and increasing the productivity by using several kinds of project management tools."

How does it sound? Do you have any more suggestions? Is there any logical or grammatical mistake?

Thanks very much for your time and replies...
