How do movies or television influence people’s behavior? Use reasons and specific examples to support your answer.

Both television and movies are very popular in the people for last century. Beginning the twenty century, when there aren’t television and movies, the most popular why to watch a good show is to assist to the theater. In my opinion, these inventions make a big change in the behavior because they make easier to assist to shows, news, and many other things. In the next paragraphs, I will explain why I think that television and movies influence people’s behavior.

First of all, I will talk about movies. In the beginning of the last century, when television hasn’t been invented yet, there were others ways to get information, like the radio and the newspapers. The movies played an important role because permit to explain great stories to all the society, using primitives techniques to compose cinema, without any sound. On these years, one of the greatest artists was Charles Chaplin, with movies like “Modern Times” and “The great Dictator”. Both movies, takes a political and social position on these years, influenced on the people.

Some years later, the sound comes to the movies, and most productions started to create “talked-movies”. As an example, of these years, the movie “Dancing in the rain” explain with a nice humor, the problems that the actors has been passed to used their voice on movies. With this new technology, some governments started the production of the weekly news, which was like a television program produced in the cinema format. Like the first movies, the reason to these programs was to inform the people about the role of the government and general oriented news.

In the second half of the last century, the television was created. On the first years, it was only an expensive tool for rich people. Some years later, the prices were lowering and most of the families had their own television at home. With this new scenario, any television show has been come a massive audience program. There is no doubt about people that what a commercial product on television, then they want to probe at home.

In conclusion, the television and the movies has influenced the behavior of the people, in the way making the most basic things, to the advanced like the religion, politics, sports, etc.
