whoever is teaching students to use "canned" responses on English tests, please stop. They do not work, are annoying and hurt the test taker.

canned responses are recognized for what they are and are either ignored as not part of a score or detract points

either listen and learn, or continue to make the same mistake teaching or testing. i'm just passing along very good information.
