Is it a joke? Your answer coincides with the answer from book "Perfect phrases for the toefl". It's 99% the same! Just except India you used USA. What's the point to do such things? Is it funny or what?

Using the online voice recorder is an excellent idea for people who want to prepare for the speaking section of the TOEFL. So Silky has done an excellent job and I hope many TOEFL candidates will follow her example.
