Hi, Kim-- and welcome to English-test.net.

Sometimes (as with your sentences), the two prepositions are essentially synonymous. 'Inside' more distinctly specifies an inner space, and enclosure, I think, than does 'in'.

hi ,
I am thanks for your help.
Could I ask you a question that relates with this again?
"the remains were found inside a wall " means " the remains were found in the house " or means " the remains were found in the wall because somebody had put it into a wall, that is like you see in a thriller movie"
Thanks in advance for your help
PS: if I make a mistake, please correct me
