raunchy - (Informal) vulgar or smutty; crude; earthy; obscene: a raunchy joke.
- Obscene, lewd, or vulgar: "[He] uses language so aggressively raunchy that he seems to be insisting his choice of vocabulary, at least, is no sin" (Wall Street Journal).
Sexually explicit.
Exhibiting lust.
I had insisted on my children being bilingual. One studied in Guatemala, another in Mexico, and a third became fluent in Spanish (and learned a few raunchy jokes) working in a hotel kitchen.
