Is it correct expression?

ex) You should send me a book within today?

Many people use that in working time by email.

But i'm not sure whether it is right or not.

Within a day or until today?

or You should send me a book today ( it means only today)?

please ...reply for me!

by the way, where can i study about confusing expression like that?

exspecially for non native speakers.. it's really hard to distinguish the right expression.

Hi Bestnsync,

I would suggest that if you are talking about a period within a longer period, you could use the preposition 'during'.

This would then read:You should send me a book during the day or You should send me a book at some time today.

Hello Bestnsync,

Be careful, you are issuing an instruction here. It may help to add a few polite words, so:

"I'd be most grateful if you could send this book to me today."

'You should' implies an obligation. If you really mean that it is a deadline you could say:

"I need that book by the end of the day."

Otherwise you can just say, "You should send that book today."
