Yes, it is. So are bathroom (not always, though), loo, and lavatory. Both bathroom and rest room are considered euphemisms (look it up), where bathroom is more frequently used in Britain, and rest room in America.

I guess you could say it that way, except that you'd better use "has been renewed", since the renewal continues into the present. Perhaps it would be even more natural to say "you have become addicted to this forum again". And, yes, it appears to be so!
