Hi Wesam,
The big problem is this difficult 'th' sound in English and with this word distinguishing it from the verb 'close' (shut). One way is to try the two together and say: close the clothes cupboard.

| the word clothes has been a problem and is still a problem for people to pronounce.others especially scholars of the lower level pronounce it like; clo-ves. others; cloz. what matters most in the pronounciation is the accent of that somebody.most of the time our local languages have a great impact on the abilities to pronounce words.am a (chewa) by native. these words are also a problem.note that the word "chewa" descibes an ethinic group found in malawi and the language associated with is called chicchewa. |
