Nowadays, as people have more free time, (the) quality of life gets more and more attention from both young people and senior citizens. Some people hold that young people can enjoy (their lives) in a better way than senior citizens. However, from my perspective, although young people have more choices, elderly peoples li(ves are) more enjoyable, for they have less pressure, and receive more respect.
The first reason I want to forward is that elderly people have less stress. They do not have to work five or even seven days a week. They have no worries about promotions and peer competitions from work. Instead, they are able to make use of their large amount of time to enjoy their life. They can indulge themselves in playing Poker, going to beautiful parks and meeting other senior citizens, which make them delighted.
Also, elderly people have exclusive access to some clubs, such as (the) Senior Citizen's Soccer Club in my city. My grandpa goes there every Friday to cheer for his favorite soccer team -- Manchester United, and he also has an excellent opportunity to make a great number of friends of the same age. It is in the Club that my grandpa enjoys himself most. They are shouting, cheering, laughing together, nothing seems more important than having their quality time watching games.
Another reason is that modern society shows a large amount of respect to elderly people. As we know, most elderly people have made their contribution earlier in life as members of the working sector, they are thus entitled to support on humanitarian and social grounds in their old age. For instance, they can have free bus ride(s), buy clothes at (a) discount, and attend community college without paying tuition (fees).
In addition, in the(ir) family life, their sons and daughters will, needless to say, do everything they can to make their parents gratified. For example, the children will spend almost every weekend with them, buy them gorgeous houses with two garages, and even luxury cars such as Porsches, by driving which, the parents are able to go on vacation in the countryside. Isn't it an enjoyable life?
Wonderful though the life of senior citizens is, there are also some slight advantages that only young people can enjoy. For instance, they may go to great parties, hang out with friends in bars, and make more friends on the internet. Besides, young people have more enthusiasm towards life. They are more likely to (par)take (in)high risk sports, such as climbing, sky diving and parachuting.
From what have been discussed above, we may safely draw the conclusion that even (though) there are some excitements that only the you(ng) can enjoy, senior citizens' li(ves) are more colorful, for they do not have to worry about work, and modern society will surely show a great deal of respect to them.
Great essay, and a great command of grammar. Very well written.
